Im a USC & i plan on going to down to city hall next week and marry my immigrant BF,
we'll have a real wedding when we work and save up our money, I know we need a witness
but what i want to know is after we get married how do i apply for AOS for him? By that
i mean where do we file this? Do we need a lawyer or do we just fill out some forms by our
selves and drop it off somewhere? What doc are needed?

We live in NYC. Im a born USC & he came with a visitors visa which has since expired.
Thanks in advance, I know this info could be right infront of my face but im a bit
overwhelm with the site right now.
 
Basically you are going to be submitting an I-130, I-485, I-864 and a bunch of other docs. There is also the issue of the medical exam to attend to.
