hi
I am planning to accept an offer for an H1B for a company engaged in mortgage loans...i only want to get it if I can get a green card..
I was just wondering why the expiring H1B holders (who have to leave the US) were not able to get green cards processed?
1. is it simply because the company did not want to petition them for a green card?
2. or was the company willing to sponsor but the employee could not qualify for one?
3. is it very hard to apply for a greencard, assuming you have an MBA from an Asian business school?
4. what does it take to go from H1B to Greencard? just a good lawyers help?
Thanks!
all the best!!
