newbie here having problem with my marriage please help?

o.k first of all i married usc back in jan 2006 interview was may 2007 .but interview went bad so a second interview is schedule for oct 2007.but my problem is this o.k please read and understand.my husband has a gambling problem.i talk to him about it several time but no change so i leave it like that o.k every night he comes home he accuse me of having somebody else which i don't .but he still keep on annoying me about me having man we always have problem about that.it even make us don't talk some of the time.he always threatening me saying he is going to cancel the whole procedure but i already get my work permit and social security.what will happen if he doesn't come to the next interview with me,please give some advice.do you think i should talk to a lawyer about this case.because sometimes we are sweet and a next time he is mean.always using that against me.saying he is not coming to the interview with me so i don't want to wait until the time come i don't know what to do.so please give me some advice thanks to everyone
 
If he does not come to the secondary interview, the process will be considered abandoned. The petition denied and you will be out of status and ought to leave the country.

Advice, seek marital counseling and a gambling addiction support group.

You have bigger problems (in my opinion) than your upcoming AOS interview. Your description portrays your husband to be a selfish and instable. You both need to talk seriously about the future of your relationship. Immigration issues are secondary at the moment. If he doesn't turn up at the interview, your AOS will be deemed abandoned. There are avenues for you to persue if you are confident of being able to prove mental/physical abuse. There are shelters that will take you in and guide you if you decide to leave your husband. You will needa lawyer to sort out your immigration woes once your AOS is deemed abandoned. I hope things work out for you. Good luck!!!
