Priority date: Aug 2002
FP date: Oct 2002
Interview: Still waiting

Anyone with similar timelines, Please post your timings.

Website says it should take 8-10 months, obviously it is over that.
Called up BCIS today and they say cant do status check until
it is atleast 11 months.

Any suggestions/Ideas?

i have the same problem,i call bcis jul 1st an immigration officer ask me for my alien number,address,age.he told me the newark office will respond in 4 weeks.

I cant see my case status on the web site anymore.
What does this mean?
 
If you can't see your case status anymore on the BCIS web site, the files of your application have been forwared to a local BCIS office. The online case status tracking covers only Service Centers. This means as long the service center has your N-400 application, you can see your case status online. This is the case until the FBI fingerprint check has been cleared.

Also how far ahead is Interview when you get Interview letter?

Hi

Priority date: Aug 19th 2002
(On the Case status online, date it was August 22, 2002. I don't know why)
FP date: Oct 1st 2002
Interview: Still waiting

About 4-5 days ago I was able to check the status online but as of yesterday I can't.

So this means that my files are at the Local Office in Newark.

I have a potential problem. I'm going on a vacation starting July 19th and I wont be back until August 12th. I'm afraid that during my absence I'll receive a letter with an apointment and that I'll miss it.

Does someone knows aproximately how far ahead is Interview when you get Interview letter?

I called the 800 number today and the ins officet told me that there is no way to check the status at the local office online or on the phone.

Can someone give me an advice please

From reading through other timelines in this website, I think they will give you atleast 3-4 weeks for Interview.

I received my interview letter on Monday
My interview date is September 15th

So that is about 2 months after I received the letter. Thank god it 'll be after my vacation

So to sumarize

Priority Date August 19th 2002
FingerPrint Date October 1st 2002
Interview date September 15th 2003

I have a friend who got fingerprinted same day as me in oct 2002 and got Interview letter yesterday for Sept 2003.
So hopefully we will be getting soon.
Any idea how long does it take for Oath in Newark/NJ?

Interview date scheduled: Aug 19, 03 in Philadelphia

Got Interview letter

I got my interview letter today for end of Sept.
This is what I am supposed to take to the Interview.
1) Green Card
2) Passport
3) Photo Identification
Anything else that I should take along?

Also how is Oath done in Newark/NJ?
Is it same day?

My friend also had Oath the same day as Interview.
I was wondering if it was norm!!
It seem from the posts earlier that if all goes well, you get Oath at
next ceremony and dates for Oath are predecided.
Is that the case?
Anyone knows, where to find the dates for Oath for Newark, NJ?
