Hi,

I applied my N400 with the Receipt date: 4/20/12 at the Lewisville, TX facility. Does anyone have a recent experience of roughly when I should expect the letter for the biometrics at the local filed office in Newark, NJ?

You should have your Biometrics appointment at 1 month from receipt date. See the signature of recent applicants in the Newark thread.

Hey, glad to be connected screwedupcaseII. Do you know if USCIS updates the status when they send out the biometrics notice if you are registered for a text and email alert?

From what I read from this forum, almost all the people received text and email alert before biometrics notices were sent out.
 
Folks any news of biometrics appointment in Newark, NJ office??

My priority date is 05/10/2012. 3 weeks now but no news about fingerprinting. how long should i wait before calling USCIS customer care no.
 
that good to know. at least one of us got a fingerprint notice. how about you screwedupcase? have you received the notice yet? have you called Customer care yet? what did they say.
my priority date is 05/10/2012 but no news since then.

I just got an email that USCIS has sent me a fingerprinting notice.

priority date is 05/10 so it took 27 days for USCIS to send a fingerprinting notice for Newark, NJ office.

There are plenty of meters on the streets around the ASC. 1.5 hours will be more than enough. Good luck!
 
Hola Fellow Comrades,

Greetings! As anticipated, the biometrics experience was sweet, swift and effortless. It took < 30 minutes to get in & out of the overly large office. The scorching heat seemed to be the only complain, which was acceptable considering the charm of the fingerprinting experience!

So, now for either the YL or IL... the wait continues... keep writing!!!
 
Case status changed to Testing and Interview

Hi,
my case status was changed to 'Testing and Interview' - 3 days after fingerprinting.

now waiting for an Interview date.
