Newark EAD experience

Here is a summary of visit to INS Newark, to get EAD for me and my wife.
Went to INS office on 8/9/2001 at 7 AM. After waiting in various lines, I was given a token and sent to processing section at 11 AM. Due to a glitch in documentation, we were the last one\'s processed and given our EADs at 5 PM. In essence if you go to Newark without appointment, expect to spend the entire day there.

Hi . Thanks for your useful note. Could you please post the details like RD,ND?

I think we have to make a similar trip as my wife\'s EAD renewal has not been approved yet. Her RD was MAy 23rd. But no news on the AVM. When I spoke to the IIO, she said it is taking a full 90 days to process.

We plan a trip on Aug 20th. Will appreciate if you could give me a list of things to take.
