hi everyone in NYC.

myself and my husband filed an I-130 & I-485 with the NBC in april. our online status sayd it is taking between 120-180 days to reach a decision; however, the processing dates for I-485s in the new york office is december 2002.

does anyone know why there is such a discrepancy and how long we might be waiting?
 
That is an automatic message, everybody receives the same doesn't matter where you live.

In this same forum there is a thread about it. Waiting time...patience time.

well, I read in others posts that NYC is going better than others...so I wouldn't believe in that, plus they don't update dates all the time in all DO's? nah. That is impossible, just imagine that they will put a person just to update that...2.5 yrs OMG. My DO says Oct 2003 and has been like that since late june.
