CARD/DOCUMENT PRODUCTION
Hello everyone. Some few minutes ago i checked the status of my Asylum Using my Z** number and it now says;
On October 28, 2013, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.
I just imagine what it means........ Is there anyone who knows better? From previous threads i am tempted to think that i might have been GRANTED ,given that i went to their office on Friday and they said that my decision was mailed to me that same Friday . Then today it went to CARD/DOCUMENT PRODUCTION.

I don't know how to check my application status. My lawyer (legal representative) has all the documents, and I am not sure where the 'receipt number' is. Can you help me In God's Hands, or anyone else??

I think I figured this one out. Thanks for letting me know it can be checked. (Not that mine says anything, it says it could not be found etc).

Hi Ms.A. If you were in Status when u applied at Rosedale NY it migh take a while. Check this out:

April 2013 :Asylum application sent
April 2013 : Received acknowledgement of receipt for asylum
May 2013: Fingerprint notice received
May 2013: I went to do my fingerprint
May 2013: Interview notice recieved
June 2013 : Interview done at Rosedale office Queens NY
September 2013: EAD applied after 154 days
October 2013 : Received acknowledgement of receipt of EAD application
Friday 10/25/2013 ecision Mailed today
Monday 10/28/2013 : (9am)Status with Z number changed online to Initial Review.
(3:30pm) Status changed to Card/Document Production.
Tuesday 10/29/2013 : Received Decision in mail.
APPROVED, APPROVED , APPROVED.
So i advice you to check your Status with Your Z number morning , afternoon and evening.

Ms.A , As you can see i didn't receive my EAD before my decision even though i applied. My decision came alone. In fact that Tuesday when i saw my mail woman delivering mail i went to her and asked if i had any mail.When i saw the big brown envelope with USCIS on it i almost collapsed. I went home and opened it looking for the I94. When i saw it and it read Approve indefinitely i thanked God. I know how the Rosedale office may be frustrating but one thing is demanded of you "patience". Be patient and Pray a lot. For, If Jesus says YES to your case , no one can say no. I prefer to be here chatting and helping people than to be doing nonsense on Facebook. Ask your questions anytime and i will always attempt an answer to the best of my knowledge and experience.

Interview cancelled

My interview was scheduled for nov-25 but yesterday i got a notice from USCIS that it has been cancelled (within 2 days). Do you guys know how long it generally takes for them to give new date?
