FP Reschedule

I wanted to reschedule my FP to some more months as i wanted to get married and file for my wife too. Is it true, that if u postpone FP, it will delay for a long time. If that is the case, can i specify the amount of duration to postpone ?

Has anyone or your friends postponed FP and waiting for more than 2 months. I need atleast some time to get married.

Finger Print Notice in Boston Area

Did anybody who filed 485 in September receive the FP notice in Boston area? I just talked to INS officer and he told me Mine is not scheduled for the FP yet. Now they are scheduling the FP for April, 2001 cases.
Please update your RD, ND, status and State.

Please note that FP dates depend _very_ much on your state. Ohio has been very slow in FP. I have not seen any Aug/Sep\'01 cases in Ohio which have FP scheduled.

INS had lots of problems with this region. Duplicate FP notices were sent for case dates in May/Jun. God knows what INS is doing.

Finger printing

I am in NJ AND I FILED MY 485. My RD is July 20 and notice date is Sept 5. I have still not got my finger printing. Is it normal. Does it mean my green card is going to be delayed.
What should I do.
