New Visa Bulletin

Don't hold your breath...

Also, I can't believe how they try to bullshit us. Look at this:

EMPLOYMENT: Demand for numbers in the Employment Third “Other Workers” category, as well as the China and India Employment Second preference categories, has been escalating. No movement in those cut-off dates will be possible until the current level of demand subsides.

What the hell are they talking about? What is demand? Demand is people eligible to this category who file I485, correct? So, because so many (supposedly new applications under this category) file for I-485, they don’t move forward on this category and release the pressure for those who filed 4-5 years ago? This is absolutely ridiculous. They are BS us in front of our eyse and they think we are all dumb. What they actually say is - "we won't move you guys forward because there are so many people who want green card...you need to tell them that green card is bad, and only then we will deal with you and your retrogression". Unbelievable.

Also, I wouldn't try to be that excited about EB3 moving 2 weeks forwards. This move may happen both ways in the future. Specially with all the back log clearing going on, I wouldn't expect it to keep moving forward. Just trying to be realistic here.

Let's hope the new bill passes thru and rescue us.

I used Infopass this last month in BOS and was told by the officer that my case is pending in VSC `cause I don`t have visa # available. How come is that possible, if my PD: 26APR01, EB3?

mv1211 .The last date to file illegal immigrants initially Apr 30.But they extended that date to June 30.I remember they gave add in the radio's and tv
to take advantage of that and moved date to JUne 30..Mine is July

Hurdle extended to June 30?

My priority date is also in july 2001. Have been wiating since a longtime. After seeing the new visa bulletin, I thought july will come in next month. Thinking whether to go for CP or AOS. I am surprised to see that the hurdle extended to jun2 30. I haven't heard of this before. Please let me know your thoughts. If that is the case better of applying a new case in EB2 and ask for portability.

please google it you will find

Good News

Now assuming the july 01 priority date comes soon, is it better to go for CP by filing I-824(as I haven't mentioned while filing I-140) or for AOS? Which would be fatser? I come under chennai consular district, looks like they are not accepting AC I-140 for EB3. Any ideas? I-485 would be filed in Vermont.
