I have heard from one of my friend that after getting the EAC # for 485,
EAD can be recieved on the same day at Hartford INS by producing the 485 recipt and fee for EAD. I just wanna make sure whether the info is correct or just a rumour. Any help would be appreciated.

How can you be sure what answer you get here is TRUE?? Be it as it may, Yes you can get EAD from the Local INS Office with 485 Receipt if you have not applied for EAD at VSC.

Thanks for the Info.I have more more question..
Where it is advisible to file for EAD, whether at VSC or at
Hartford. That friend of mine also told me that you could get the EAD immediately if you go in person to the Hartoford office along with the required documents.

I think u can directly go to local INS office with ur I485 receipt and get ur EAD on the same day.
