new USCIS backlog report....

in August it was an 11% decrease of the backlog...this is good news indeed.
Note that the 12% increase of June is due to the asylees being added to the backlog.

This does sound good. Even though asylees are a part of the backlog increase numbers, it doesn't mean that they are a part of the backlog reduction process

why asylees are not part of the backlog elimination process ??

Curios...why is that?..I think that we are part of it , if USCIS keeps this elimitation process in about 1 year they will be almost done with the backlog, let's say we are not part of the elimination process, so what are they gonna do at the end since it is a fact that we were added to the backlog?? it does not make sense that they added asylees applications to the backlog and just keep us waiting knowing that the green card cap was lifted...
It seems to me that USCIS is really serious about eliminating the backlog by Sept. 2006 and I hope we don't get stuck at the end of the road.
