New to TN Visa -Need Advice

Hi team
I need advice since I am going to get a TN Visa for the first time from Toronto.
1. I have 9+ years of IT experience in Canada with reputed companies but I left my job 2.5 years back and started a private business. Recently a head hunter from the USA sent me an offer, so I can get TN Visa on the border. Will this 2.5 years gap impact my success in getting TN Visa? I have already got my Indian educational assessment done, which is equivalent to Masters in IT.
2. Does going by airport or road or any particular port of entry to the USA preferred has better chance of getting TN VISA?
3. Can I work remotely from Canada once I get TN Visa?
4. Is there a link to check list of docs needed to take with me to the POE?
5. Do I need to meet a lawyer and show/verify paper before I go POE?

Thanks all in advance!

Your resume means nothing, positive or negative. You will get TN based solely on education. Resume shouldn't even be brought.
2. No
3. Yes, but if you do this, you should be put on Cdn payroll. Not an immigration issue, but a tax one.
4.
5. Lawyers do not even need to be involved in getting TN. It is designed to be done simply by sponsor and worker.

Thanks @nelsona. I was wondering will they not ask for current experience, employment letters/proof? If I go without it, they may ask for current exp proof Or Just WES evaluation is going to work with offer letter?
Thanks again for your time!

With a bachelors degree, there are no other quals needed. If you did NOT have a bach but had a diploma, then you would need experience letters covering three years, TN basics

There is a document called the OOH
