New TN visa Sample Letter

Hi

Can someone help with the new TN visa requirement?

1. Does anyone have New sample TN Letter? I found some sample letters, but it was under NAFTA?

2. If my Joining date is June 21, When i can apply for TN visa at the border (Is it before 10 business days or 10 regular days)?

3. Is it mandatory to have evaluation report for TN visa, since i did my Masters in USA?

1. NAFTA is now known as USMCA but honestly, nothing has changed regarding the TN process. The TN letter requirements are exactly the same.
2. If you apply at the border, the TN visa is issued from this date irrespective of when your work/job starting date is.
3. I don't believe it is mandatory but perhaps someone that has done this can comment. (I don't see why you would need an evaluation report for a US qualification though)
 
For TN, degrees from canada/mexico do NOT require evaluation. A US degree would never need evaluation for US immigration purposes; that is for foreign degrees.

But Bachelors degree from India? do I need evaluation report?

Can I go for TN Visa on June 1st since the starting date is June 21?

If you are using that degree to get TN, then, YES, it needs evaluation, as always..
 
Do we need to get a specific title on the offer letter to get TN visa. Since my role is of a Manager, but I read you need a specific title as per NAFTA/USMCA

yes you should include the occupation from the list of occupations under USMCA for TN, no need to include the internal title at your company especially if it has the word Manager in it. In a TN job you're technically not supposed to be managing people so that word can trigger a negative reaction at the border/by USCIS. I've applied with just the occupation title and not even mentioning the title at my company since thats just internal argon.

Hi Jai, Were you able to find new TN sample letter which refers to USMCA. I just need snapshot of provision for computer system analyst
