I have seen cases getting approved as early as 10 days to people still waiting for > 7 weeks..

So I\'m trying to get an idea on the avg how long it is taking for NSC for next action after replying to RFE? Also trying to figure out how many cases end up in multiple RFE\'s and/or local INS.

Could all people who have got RFE and replied back to INS post on this thread the following info:

RD, ND, RFE date, RFE type, AVM updated date, Approval date..
My details
RD - Aug 2000, ND - Sep 2000, RFE date- Feb 12 \'2002, RFE - Last entry to US on H1B, AVM updated date -Feb 26 \' 2002, Approval date???

AMV UPDATED WITH RECEIPT : 02/18
SECOND EAD AND AP APPROVED ON 02/21
WAITING FOR APPROVAL...
 
2nd RFE to reply tomorrow

First RFE response on Feb 12, 2002 and heard 2nd RFE was issued for mme and family on Feb 27, 2002.

Change job after 180 days due to laid off. 1ST RFE was about Employment verification. 2nd is about Employment verification with more data required such as position requirement and duties from appropriate authority in company. plus a clear copy of my current EAD. original I-129 approval notice from old employer.

Following 2 cases I found on a another discussion. These are really scary as they are waiting for more than 7 months
Also of late Im not seeing any approvals after RFE? Any comments..

NO Reply after that..Called IIO couple of times..they said its with the officer (On Nov\'01) Still No reply..

I\'ve been a silent reader, but got help from this board.
My case has been a long history.
PD: June, 96
RD: September, 97
ND: November, 97
EB3 - India
Got visa retrogress (unavailable visa) after filing.
After waiting for one year without approval, moved from California
to Gorgia. Wrote to INS CSC about mail address change a couple of times. Got finger print request and employment verification letter
in Jan 15. Got finger print done 2/8. Mailed employment letter and
3 recent pay stubs to CSC 2/15. AVM updated 2/27 saying received
RFE and taking 999 days. 3/6 case was approved per AVM.
Praise Lord!!!
I never called live IIO, because it\'s a waste of time. They do not
tell you more than what the AVM tells you. I do not have time to wait
for more than one hour because of busy work.
Everyone just hangs in there, your approve will be next.

TSC EB2 RD 03/15/01 and FP 02/09/02 and RFE 02/25/02. RFE was

requesting evidence that my 20Hr/Week work in school (part of my Research Assistantship) was legal. Lawyer has sent my I-20 and OPT EAD. Hope this should answer their questions. Any idea on how long it will take from here?

anybody sent RFE and voice message not updated.
3 weeks RFE replied no approval yet.....atleast on VM :)))
 
same here ...02/18 amv updated for the receipt of RFE ..no approval..getting worried.

I have seen some people waiting for their approvals more than 7 months...Should we call IIO or what?
 
Me too. AVM hasn\'t updated the receipt of my RFE responses.

I response RFE of mine and my daughter\'s on March 6 via US expresss mail. I tracked it and found that it was delivered to INS express
and sign by T Way INS at 10.24am on March 7.
Today I check AVM in the evening but AVM hasn\'t updated it.

I haven\'t received my wife\'s RFE which was issued and sent on Feb 27.
Don\'t know if this is a reason for not update on AVM. going to call
INS on next Tuesday if.....
 
AVM Message

Are all you of you RFE waiters have the message on your AVM say something like ...

"This type of case is taking 300-330 days, but Since initial processing of your case has been completed, it is taking about 330 DAYS to process this kind of case"

I am wondering if there are anyone out there for whom the number of days is less.

Hello Versova,

How did they come to know that you have changed your job? Are they looking that you should be doing exactly the same job as mentioned in the Labor certification?

For example Suppose my LC is for programmar in IBM mainframe, should I be doing the same job as programmer in Mainframe and not programming in something else.

Your answer will be highly appreciated.

message strangely changed from 350-380 days to 300-330 days...
