Travel using AP

How many days can one remain out of this country using AP without hampering the AOS process. Does it hamper the AOS process if someone leaves this country after FP? Can someone work for a company here sitting in India(online) using EAD? Can you guys help me with these informations.
 
Here is how to delete an old message (Your question in old thread)...

Ratnakar,

You will have update capability for app. half hour (I guess) after that you can delete the message if you want.

You can always delete a message (that you posted) from the thread. When you select "All Messages" below all your messages there will be a Delete button (first one). Select that one, but note that you have to confirm after clicking that button. i.e. the system will ask you Are you sure kind of question.

Recently this site went down for few days and at that time they have to do massive backup/copy kind of thing. Around that time if you made any changes probably they are lost.

Can you please update your status once you receive your receipts. Normally it takes app. 5 days to get receipts once CSC cashes the checks.

Looks like VSC is now opening packets they received on July 3rd! I wish CSC also speeds up and goes through a bit faster into frontlog.

My mailing date is between 10th and the 15th. No checks cashed and no receipts. My priority date became current starting July 1st. My lawyer sent the papers immediately after the dates became current on June 10th since I had already submitted all documents to her in advance. My lawyer even got a call from INS between 15th and the 20th of june that they received my application. The reason was that my passport visa copy was not clear and so they called to get another one.
I feel my receipt might be on July 1st since that\'s when all the dates became current.

Not to scare you but, here is what I think...

1. As far as I know your attorney is suppose to send your packet so that it will reach INS only after July 1st (because that\'s when your priority date became current). INS use to enforce this rule very strictly before this FrontLog problem started. I have no idea how they will respond to your case this time. I hope and wish that they issue receipt with July 1st Receive date.

2. If there is some thing wrong then INS normally won\'t call the attorney. Rather they will send RFE and that will be in lot later stage in the processing.

3. We all know that INS mail is just waiting unopened in boxes. I don\'t think some one went through your file and checked that some thing is not clear so they called attorney to send another copy! It sounds like a story by some one who doesn\'t know any thing about INS. If your attorney told this really exactly like this? Then I would like to ask you a question! Is this first case for your attorney? OR may be your attorney is working for a very big firm and has very big influence. But so far I never heard any thing like this though! May be I am wrong.

Even I am an EB3 guy with PD becoming current on July 1st. But my attorney sent my application on 19th June and INS got it on 20th June.

So they may issue an RFE for me, I dont know yet. But I got my receipts with RD as June 20
