The number stays the same, but your citizenship status in the Social Security database needs to be updated. Fill out the SS-5 form and go to a Social Security office with your existing card and evidence of your citizenship. If your SS card still has the employment restriction wording on it, they will send you a new card without that wording, in addition to recording your citizenship status.
