As usual --the ambiguity in the rule--is with typical dilemmas as always it was the way there .
Ok.(Pl. ignore the typo in the header.Cursor was jumping )
Now for us- for the guys already got their OCI cards in hand--
whether this new rule will not kick in retroactively?(lucky if not).
whether they need to carry 'cancelled' PPs when travel there to prove they were cancelled?(otherwise may you be detained and charged extra $$ of INRs at POE? any thing is possible with ambiguous terminalogy back there? and that too you dont' have certificate of Renun..balah ,blah..).
If it is renounced will the PP contain different annotation than the present one.?(that is Renounce...instead of 'cancelled due to..acquired ...natioanlity)?
Not much concerned but just in case..
....
Any ideas ...
