new processing times: I-485 - 01/30/02

going back to 573 RFEs , It makes sense assuming 75% persons are married and hv spouse applications tagged in there + 50% of them will hv one kid and 25% 2 kids and may be 2% left the country.
s0 573+430+286+140+ 15==around 1450 cases in pipeline + trnasfers and approved.
I have the same feeling like someone else said they will bring this down to July pretty soon . Certainly they r capable of doing it , the did it before and can do it again.i will give 6 months to hit july/aug 2002 cases.

Or maybe they will keep it at this date (1/30/02) for the next 2 to 3 weeks and then have another jump to middle or end of Feb.

ND022202 is right. According to CSC service guide, if JIT passes your ND (the later of the two dates on your 485 receipt), you have to wait 30 days after the JIT was published, then follow the inquiry procedures (fax, then e-mail #1, then e-mail #2)

Yep, but even you are not passed the 30 days, at least you have some reason to call these guys and ask them what's going on :)

After RFE !

Once the RFE is replied, is there a wait time after which you can start bugging BCIS with Fax, E Mail., etc?

Inquiry time

I think the JIT should be over 30 days from my RD day to make an inquiry, based on BCIS instruction such as "If you filed your case 30 days or more before the date shown under processing cases with receipt date of....... ".

:confused:

If I am WAC02 270 and got RFE

For those who got RFE out of sequence (Not within JIT),

Don't think you can bug INS out of turn, or rather you shouldn't because you will be taking resources away from your case, but I would just wait a few weeks to a month before doing anything. Usually RFE is a good sign and if you have replied to it, there is a high possibility that your case will be approved shortly!

Good luck!
