New Passport - Visa Stamping ?

I\'ll be getting a new passport shortly, as the current one expires after the 10 year limit, from the Indian Consulate in USA.

Could anyone please tell how I can transfer the current valid H1B visa from the old passport to the new one?

Ravi, You are fine , You can apply for new passport , you will get new new passport and also you will get to retain your old passport the first two pages of your old passport will be stamped as \'DELETED\'.

You can show your old passport VISA stamping while travelling and once you get new H1 approval ( whenever it is) they will stamp it in new passport, then you can save the old passport as it will be not necessary. There is no need for you to transfer the old passport stamping to new passport.
