New Passport Number

Recently I got my India passport renewed in chicago and I got my renewed passport with new number.

I applied to I-485 3 months back, so do I need to inform INS about my new renewed passport number ?? Any suggestions.

You don't have to.

Keep your old passport that may have been stamped as “ cancelled” and new passport always attached.
