New passport and 485

I got a new passport as the old one expired. But INS has my old passport details. How do I inform them the new passport details. Will this delay my 485 processing. Please help. My Rd is 10/02, EAD and AP received. FP is also done

Hi Friend,

I had applied my 485 on 5/4/2001 and my passport was expiring on 11/14/2001. Recently I got my EB3 application got approved without any RFE and I just got my new passport on Saturday from Indian Consulate. Don\'t send INS if they don\'t ask for it. They have enough papers to play with. Good Luck.

What I understand from your reply is that I can go with my new passport for visa stamping. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I did the same thing. After applying for 485, my passport was expired. Got a new one in D.C. Took both passports for the stamping. Temporary stamp was put in the new passport.
