Dear Friends,

I have been trying to find out the oath ceremony schedule for New Orleans for the longest without success. Now I am starting this thread believing one of you (gurus) will come up with that information.

Thanks in advance.

I would check out the link below and call the number listed.

http://www.laed.uscourts.gov/GENERAL/hrsoper.htm

Also check out the FAQ section which has questions regarding naturalization ceremonies, but no specific dates. But the fact that they refer to naturalization ceremonies suggests to me that this is the venue for oath ceremonies in New Orleans.

Thanks for replying. I did check this website and called the person in charge of naturalization records. She keeps telling to contact USCIS, which I think is weird.....anyway I am not sure where else to look!

If you live close by, it may be worth a visit to see if there is a published schedule of events posted somewhere in the building. If you are not let in, you can always ask when the next naturalization ceremony is and that may get you some additional information. Just my $0.02... :)

For once an IO was right. I was scheduled for Oath exactly 14 days (two weeks) after N400 approval. Ten days to USC! word cannot describe my excitement.....
