Folks, I am starting this new thread without going into the discusion on the other thread. The reason is - guess we would like to understnad:
1. In the ight of this new memo, what will happen to old filers who has filed concurent 140 and 485, when it was orginlly introduced.there are people who has not yet recieved 485 approvla, that mean USCIS will not touch those cases and will start new cases first?
2. What will be the possible impact who has not filed concurently but 140 approved and 485 is pending from say around two years or so?
3. I personally feel there must be something which we are missing in interpertation that how differentialy USCIS is going to deal with old cases and new concurent filers? It alteast does not sound reasonable that they will start approving ew cases but will not touch the old caes.
4. Please, especially senior memebrs post your anlysis and may if some atternoys can give their input on the forum that might be very helpful.
5. Lastly lets be all think positively and hope for the best.
My best wishes to all memebrs for succesful completion of this long journey.

Anyone with 140 approved is non concurrent, will not "bebnefit" from concurrent filing, no matter how you filed orginally.

This is exactly what we don;t want to see. Rajiv will discussed this in tomorrow's phone conference. If you want to know, PM edision to get the phone number. The first thing is to make informed judgement about the impact. If we believe the FIFO is broken, we need take action, together with immigrationportal.org.

We need more than just hope. Even though I do pray everyday. We need convey our concerns to USCIS, to local legislators, start another round of compain! VSC and CSC has been leading (poject ocean, fax to congressman, organizing immigrationportal.org), and NSC memo now puts us in the spot. Only we can help us.
