Hi every one.
I am British citizen and doing my residency training on J1 visa.I will be finishig my residency next year.and i want to apply for waiver.But i have no idea at all.plz can any one out there can help me out with how to start and what to do as my first step? all your help would be greatly appreciated.
my second question is ...
can i apply for student visa after i complete my residency training(in november) to fill the gap till i start my fellowship (provided i get it) and then again switch it to J1 to start my fellowship.

Once on J visa, it sticks to you like 'dirty old gum spit on a New York subway station' ; you are looking at the long haul of finding and than fullfilling J waiver job or the easy solution of 2 year home residency requirement. No visa category changes till than :)
