New Job TN (Status of old TN)

Hi All,

I am currently on a 3 year TN visa with company A. Been working with them for the past 1 year almost. I am now getting a new offer from Company B and they are ready to sponsor a new TN visa for me.

I know when I go for my new TN visa stamping and it gets approved...the existing TN visa gets cancelled.

My query..in case I get rejected in the new TN visa, does the old TN still gets retained or the Border officer can cancel what I have currently ?

The existing TN does NOT get cancelled. You can indeed have more than one TN. But you must tell the officer that you will be keeping TN #1.
 
Thanks...I don't plan to keep old TN if I get my new TN approved.

Just worried if I get rejected my new TN, they don't cancel my old existing TN
 
many prefer to keep the old TN, even if only for the purpose of giving two weeks notice, or inc case they hate the new job. No harm keeping it.
