I finally made it to this board! My GC was approved after interview at the local INS office. Good to see you are still around :-) I was afraid you guys were gonna get a real life after getting the gc ;-)

that is my point ! Seatbelt has nothing to do with GC so why discuss here....By the way I have no kids.

It has a lot to do with GC.

Of course, the most important thi8ng is the safety but this is
not GC-specific. But if you get a ticket, you may have to
answer Yes when inspected with questions like "Have you
ever been cited, arrested?" at the time of filing N-400
or re-entry.

Traffic tickets have nothing to do with the questions in N-400. It only criminal citations ,arrests which are to be avoided.

That depends. E.g., DUI, fleeing from collison scene are traffic offense that is criminalized. So I am not sure about this booster law. And it is better to be safe than sorry. You can also be charged with puting the child in danger.

This has to be the silliest example of paranoia I\'ve read here yet. If you spend so much time agonizing about convoluted ways the INS and police are going to "get you," why are you an American "wanna-be?" Go spend some quality time with your kids instead of wasting it here.

After you get the GC, all questions are about trivial
issues. If you don\'t care, then don\'t respond.
A problem may affect a tiny portion of teh whole
population, but among the people who are affected,
the problem is always unexpectedly caused by
absurd negligience --- I already learned my own
lesson for the purpose of the I-485 stage and I am
still living in retrospect-fear.
