My case NJ-RIR-EB3, 6/3/02 ,never received 45 day letter,no news.

Where did they send the final determination letters to? Did Philly Backlog Center send one to your home address and one to your lawyer's office? Please let me know cos I am anxiously waiting for mine. I have the same priority date as yours. Thanks. :confused:

First step, I was granted LC/news same day *02-06-06*
*I recieved mail at home with regular postal service
*a call from atterny office same day

Voyager_99, aycy: Hope the wait is over for you folks and soon will receive your approval letters too.

My PD is Aug'02. I guess I have to wait a bit longer, before getting the good news of approval.
 
Any NON-RIR Approvals from NJ

I see that RIR approvals are coming thru finally but has anyone heard anything about NON RIR approvals?

Dont worry aycy it is happening . my employer got a letter from backlog that is certified. original paper went to attorney's office from backlog. we called attorney and they confirmed w/ a big invoice for the approval...

Especially for non-tech and non RIR workers:

Go to: http://atwork.nypost.com/
In "Search Keywords", enter: "484-270-1600"

You will get a list of postings for recruitment efforts the Backlog Center is doing. Mostly in the P-05031-XXXXX to P-05033-XXXXX because they in fact post the ETA number they are recruiting for.

Or even better, Just Google your P-05xxx-xxxxx number to see if there was an Ad, out there in NY Post.

Truely amazing...completely insecure !
 
Backlog hell

This is really shocking. Philly claimed that they have sent a NOF to my employer and myself back in January 5, 2006. We are supposed to respond to it within 35 days. Guess what..! Neither my employer or my lawyer nor I have received anything from Philly.

I found this shocking news after I enquired about my case via the NJ Governor's office. Can you believe this? Technically, my file would have been denied as it already pass 35 days. I cannot believe this is happening. My lawyer has contacted Philly to let them know we did not received the NOF and requested for a new NOF with another 35 days to respond. Becareful guys...! Good thing I enquired about my case or else I would only know after receiving the denial letter.

NOF=Notice of Findings
It is also known as Labor's intent to deny the case. Basically, they need more information to cure or fix the case in order for them to determining their decision. Hope this helps.

Now thats ridiculous ! Philly BEC is getting more and more crazy day by day, looks like.
What could you do, if you did not know about th NOF at all.

Good thing that you contacted the governor's office. Or else you would have never known.
How did you contact the Governor's office? Share your experience.

I surely hope you will be able to avert the situation of denial by providing the additional info that they are looking for.

Nervewreck,

You could either ask for a fax number from the contact info below or mail the letter to the PO Box. I would suggest you fax as it is faster. Explain your situation and request Govorner Corzine to assist you. He will redirect to NJ Labor office and they will get back to you which how I got to know about the NOF (Notice of Findings).
