Hello all once again...
My friend who is from pakistan . and is a green card holder lives in new york and he went to new jersey to buy Cargo van .
He got approved and everything , but he was asked to produce his Green card and copy of his social security card . when he asked why they said they need to submit these things to NY DMV.
And NY DMV will want to see this person legal status in addition to his valid NY driver's license.
Does this situation makes sense.?
