This is not the actual bill. If you read the actual Real-ID Bill which was HR-418 and then became HR-1268. You'll see the provision for cap removal. If you read through some of the old thread in this forum, you'll see the link to actual bill. This link is just a news coverage type article not the actual bill.

Well if you'll compare it to the previous thread saying that the bill has passed this thread is an update or fix. The bill didn't pass yet, that's why I named the thread like that.

Have you been sleeping? They added the asylee cap provision to the bill like two months ago at the request of President George Bush. The House then passed the bill and referred it to the Senate for consideration. On this board the messages about that event were in total longer than the novel War and Peace. You could not have missed that, could you?

It PASSED the House and is pending in the Senate.

With all the mess INS is going through it's possible. I'm going to repeat myself. I know people who got their asylum from judge and then GC in a couple of years.
