Great Guru pls help,
I happen to file H1B for my brother who is in India. The application was filed before 26 May 2006 along with other 15 applications. 7 of 15 got thru and receipt # were recieved, where as 3 of them were rejected and application was returned along with check.
Where as 5 more applications status is unkown, The check has been cashed on June 02 2006 and application is with INS, this is good news. Where as the bad part is that we have not recieved any of the receipt number nor any status update.
I am kind of wondering if there was any means to find the status on this application other than going thru company attorney, as the person is on vacation for 2 weeks.
I am not sure abt the reason for delay in H1B receipt number since it is close to 2 months from the date of check being encashed...Pls advise!
