new H1B filling(2009-2010)

My employer has filed H1 for 2009-2010 two months ago but I have not received my EAC number yet. Anybody can please tell me why does USCIS take so long to issue EAC number against new H1 filling? Does it really take that long.

My employer has not received EAC number for my H1 filling which has filed on April . not sure if it has missplaced or something worng with H1 filling process. I was think if i could refile it through same employer or different different employer.

Please advise.
 
EAC number not recieved

I am also in the same boat. I also applied for H1 this year, but have not recieved EAC number yet. Anybody know is this common this year? Or my employer is not giving full details?

I filed an H1B for one of mine friend on April 1st to VSC and got receipt in about 15 business days.

In case if your application gets rejected then you wil get EAC number. Most probably one should get EAC number within 20 days........
