Country of citizenship or birth matters when you apply for Adjustment of Status. While he applies for AOS, based on his country of BIRTH, he will be in a category where other Indians fall (retrogressed country, as of today).

That i know about AOS. My question was for new H1B here. Will he belong to Canada quota or Indian quota?

I had an interview at Chennai for H1B visa , it was my first one.
visa officer blessed me with 221(g) blue and make the documents put it in drop box. the documents they need following
1. letter from the client
2.detailed description of the project with marketing analysis of the final product
3. A complete itinerary of service or engagement specifying the date of each service or engagement , the name and address of the agent , the name and address of the actual employers, and name and address of the establishment, venues or location where the service will be performed
i would like to share with others who are having the same problems and i am not getting any idea about the third one . what they actually intend to get through it
