hi all

i have a question

my friend got her F1 stamped on May 20th
she plans to fly into US on June19th.
Her program starts on the 28th August 06

will she be denied entry as it is 2 months before her program starts ?
is there any way for her to enter US as she plans to stay with me till her school starts.

you're only allowed to enter 30 days before the program starts. If you need to go earlier, then you need to apply for a visa.

The VFS center in mumbai emailed back saying that there is no such restriction
can you tell me where such a rule is written
