New EAD without lawyer

I have a EAD related question. Me and my wife obtained our first EAD with the help of attorney and the law firm. I want to file continuation of our EAD without including lawyer or law firm. Would I need to notify USCIS that lawyer dose not represent my I-765 case anymore for the new EAD or can I just go ahead send all documents and fees to USCIS and not worry about the G-28 forms etc. Please let me know if you know the solution.

Hi,

I did my first EAD thru lawyer, and later, I renewed myself, ( paper file), everythign got approved within a week. (lawyer asked 175 per application as filing fee, otherthan the INS application fee - 175, which i didn;t want to pay)

You don;t need to do anything, it's just a simple form, you can fill and send it.

Easy Procedure

Yes nagakoosu is Right...My lawyer asked $ 175 for each application. I did my self & We got EAD & AP within a month.
Very Simple form Download form Internet & Go ahead.

You can apply without any issue, Its very simple, you don't need to send any letter USCIS.


Just download and fill it out 765, fill it out. and at end of form u sign it,
(just leave that part blank where it say that if u are filing on behalf o n someone. )

sending method is simple too,

Make an cover letter, attach 765 form and doc and send using USPS certified with return receipt.

So you guys are saying that we need not fillout any forms like G-28 to notify USCIS that lawyer does not represent my case for new/renewal I-765 petition?

Can you guys please tell me what all documents did you attach to your application?

I filed my EAD from from North Carolina. I relocated to Virginia. Where do I send my renewal application?

EAD renewal should be sent to the Service center that have ur pending 485.

if u move u should file AR-11/AR-11SR, to avoid any issue specialy transfer case to other juridiction, u should careful to avoid any transfer to local office or other Service center becz you moved to out of juridiction.

Yes, I relocated 4 months back and filed AR-11 and had called NSC to update my adress around that time. My lawyer said nothing wld be transferred to local office jut bcoz I relocated, as long as I am in the same general field of work.
