Hi Malkoc,

Your filing date is before me since your RD is 03/22. My RD is 04/17
I believe the the first three digits after WAC-02 indicate the number of working days from Oct 1st, 2001 which is the first working day for INS\'s financial year. So your case shows 142 days where as mine is 164 days. Just ignore the last digits which start with 5.

You can file for I140 using a substituted LC

Hi Huang,

My attorney told me that I could file for an I140 using an already approved LC so there was an LC approved in my company which suited my profile. I believe these days it takes ages to get an LC through RIR to get cleared due to the job market being down. So hence the short cut. Im sure you can find more info on this on the various forums available

You\'re right about the the first three digits in the case number, but I think the last five digits is the real case# which goes incrementally for each category (EB3 and EB2 have different queues).

No news for me

My RD is 02/05, EB2, RIR for I-140. I have not even received a RFE, so I am confused what is going on as the current date is 02/15. Any clues?

maybe the actual processing time is longer now...

I\'m not seeing many Feb. approvals in this forum. This would mean, either there\'re not many people are following this forum (which might be true), or the actual procerssing time of a case has got longer (I believe the date in processing time report means the case with latest receipt number being processed). So instead of getting a case cleared within 1-2 weeks, now it takes longer, probably due to the security check. If this is true we should start seeing Feb. approvalsafter a couple of weeks.

Has anyone better inside information via their lawyers?
 
Finally Approvals are coming for March
