Nervous about my EAD

Hello, everybody,

I filed my package I-485/I-131/I-765/I-130 through my lawyer in April [my notice day: April 6, 2005]. My receipts start with MSC, I guess Missouri. So I received the notice letters at the end of April. My few questions:
1. Does that mean anything that they asked me to send a medical exam back within 87 days [which I already did]? Isn't it soon?
2. I keep checking the online case status and processing times daily, am I supposed to be checking the national times or local from Tampa? National has April 25 now, I believe. I did my FP on June 16 and I though my EAD would be approved soon after. I have a good job offer and can't wait to start.
3. In case I don't see my EAD is approved by Wednesday July 6, which is 3 months period, I already scheduled appointment in TPA for July 18. Is it wise though to just walk in the day after July 6 and try my luck?
4. Last thing. If I want to check on I-485 processing, do I look for Tampa? Or is it processed somewhere else?

1. You should send it even if you thing its too soon. Its usually valid for 15 months.
2. Check the LO process times for the 485 and check Missouri (national Benefits center) for the 765 and 131.
3. You can get interim ead after 90 days of filing unless there is a RFE. I wouldnt suggest going to the LO wiouth and appointment. You most likely will get turned away. Keep your appointment.
4> Read my responce to #2.

Good luck.

same problem---please help!!!!

I have the same problem. I filed for adjustment of status through attorney, in april and got the notice having receipt date of 18th april. I have got appointment for fingerprinting on 15 august(there were no appointments at an earlier date, in indiana). My 90 days period after filing will be over on 18th july.
Can I get my EAD before my fingerprinting is done?
I can see my case status online which shows that application for I-765 was updated in 6th june and I can not see anything after that. It says we will inform you about our decision shortly.

Please advice what should I do.

they won't release your EAD to you until your FP are done. I am not sure about your interim EAD, I guess, you can get it.

Is there any way I can prepone my FP appointment? I went to the local INS office and they told me that I can not get my interim EAD as my application is approved and they grant interim EAD when application has been rejected. I asked them about FP appointment and they told me that they do not schedule an appointment. How can I have my FP done by walkin? I do not think they accept this without prior appointments. I am in great need of job and i do not know whether I will be ocnsidered for job interview without EAD or not. Please suggest me what should I do now?
