I went to infopass last week. The IO told me my background checking had been cleared, but my case is pending for some "information request to some government agency". She said She couldn't tell me what it was unless she looked into the file. Has anyone heard about similar experience?

background checking is cleared
My background checking is cleared, including name check and finger print check. I paid my tax all the time. I don't think it is something related with criminal and security interest. I went to interview 2 years ago, at that time they couldn't grant me citizenship right way for two reasons, one was name check and the other was that they couldn't allocate my file when I was on F1 status. I am worried they are still searching those files. Obviously, if those files couldn't be found in the last two years, they are lost forever.
