Is there any problem that I typed the name of the governorate of birth in the online application in DV 2014 and when I were selected in Dv 2014 I sent the Ds 230 with my full birth place

city, governorate,country.

May that affect my chances or disqualify me?

thanks

It's not an incorrect entry - it may be more information than they needed, but it won't disqualify you. So relax :)

It's not a material error - you can clear it up at the interview. After all the important thing is the country of birth (actually, only really the region, AF etc, that is critical!) Redo the DS230 and take it with you, or the CO can just correct the one he has. You will only get disqualified for material errors for example, wrong region of chargeability, leaving out a spouse or child on the entry, claiming you have a high school education when you don't, trying to hide a criminal record etc. I and many others discovered minor errors on the forms, it wasn't a problem.

(just to be clear - this refers to disqualification on what you have put on the forms - there are obviously other criteria for eligibility such as education, medicals and proving you won't be a public charge).

Won't be a problem.

Sorry,But why?
Britsimon ,Gabam and SusiQQQ are good forum-mates ,honest and they always answer my posts quickly ,i trust them So i always ask for their help that is the point.

But (1) others can also answer and (2) it will help other people who may have the same question. Although lord knows people don't seem to use the search function anyway judging by the huge number of duplicate questions in the forums ....
