Need your addvice , waiting for D-hearing .

Hi there !
One of my friends friend neighbor , is here for almost 20 years , he has issue with immigration, actually its not him, immigration got issue with him, they don't even know the guy , and not trying to know him but they just want to send him back in his old country which he left 35 years ago .
After all his lawyers screwed him up for big top $$$, he just gev up on this fight , last lawyer asked him in very cruel way for $10 K cash more in one pay ,ore he will drop his case , he told him " no way" cause he so far did nothing for him ,just took $10 K .
He supposed to file for federal court, cause all other try's failed out. $20 K just to file for court ????
Thought some connection that know him ,he went to one of the biggest top notch lawyer for immigration , and his response was .....
I checked your case , your last attorney failed to file for federal court and send the letter to federal court stating that he cant find you and he is no longer your attorney " There is no lawyer can help you not even I ,so my best advice is save your money , don't get arrested and wait till immigration reform cause you are going to need money than" Many other attorneys said this to him also.
So far I am in this forum since 1998..and kind of believe in you guys more than in any attorneys.
So he wants to know What should he do ,

* What if Deportation hearing letter comes before immigration reform .
if yes

* Should he go to D-hearing.?

I believe many in this forum would like to hear your advice.


PS.......Is any body control this blood suckers (Layers) All do respect for good ones ?
Do they just go like nothing happening. I know there are some good one that like to help peeps .

That guy is a U.S citizen? If he came here 20 years ago, amnesty would've applied to him? tell us why tehy want to deport him now??
 
Nope he is not citizen. He never had Police record ..
He tried to get political asylum . but got always denied by Immigrations gods (Judges).
Its one of those cases like mine and others.
He is saying that first got denied from Immigration officer than from Immigration judge than motion to reopen, now he is facing D-day cause nothing else is left.
I am still paying for attorney for my own case which is very similar like I said it before, and I know I am throwing money in garbage. should I stop paying to.????

Do not say things like "will pass before the labor day." American politics is too uncertain for you to give people this degree of hope. Most people think something will be done but not "will" be passed.

Just hang in there. You guys are good men. I pray for the passage of an immigraiton reform package.
 
Hey John Smith I hope all is well with you,,thank you man life is treating me great just this immigration .... but I stopped to worry . its all in gods hands now.,
Something tells me it will pass , but it will happen somewhere in the February 2008 same as lust time in 1988 when Regan left office he gev amnesty.
But the question is what him ore I , ore we ... get D-day hearing should we go ore we just ignore till amnesty.

I heard that in Detroit .. Chicago .. Some places in Texas iNS agent showed up but did not pick up no one just told them to come over in office .. which they never did .
and if you are really threat, ore criminal ,than you will not have chance to hide.
I am just curios what most of you guys think ??
