Need urgent help!!!

I am filling out affidavit of support for my husband. He is currently on H1. I do not have any income so I am going to use his income on the affidavit of support. I believe I can do this right?

Also, on page 2, there are part 2 and 3. Which one should I fill out? If Part 2 needs to be filled out, I believe my name is the SPONSOR and in the list at the botton will be my husband's name right? Please help!!!

Yes you can use your husband's income but you will be the sponsorer and he has to file for I 864A.
 
Yes, that is correct.

When we filed our I-485 I (the sponsor) I was working at the time and earning my own income. Fast forward three years later at our AOS interview, I was now a stay at home mom (still am). :) So, we had to file a new Affidavit of Support, using my husband's income. We also had to file an I-864-A. Also, list any assets you may have: car, home equity, savings, stocks, trust funds, 401-K, IRA, appraised jewelry, etc. etc. MAKE SURE TO GET IT NOTARIZED!!!!!

Need Urgent Help

Thank you both of you for your help. I went in for the interview this moring through Dallas pilot program and aced it. I have been promised a GC within 90 days. Keep fingers crossed.

I guess I will go ahead and start a post with my experience for people (specially in Dallas area) so they can benefit from my experience.

who promised you a gc within 90 days?

I have been hearing that a lot here and I have not found any proof of anyone getting a gc that quickly. The pilot program INS is trying to implement is for immediate family of usc to have a decision whether they can receive a gc or not is for 6 months not 90 days.

90 days is for work permits. You are guaranteed an EAD within 90 days.

Also don't forget to get those things notorized.

Yes, I am a us citizen and my husband and I went in for the interview this morning. No, you do not have to notorized the documents because a notorization is as good as showing the originals to the adujdication officer. He/she can notorize it at that time. This is also stated on form 864 an 864A. Also, I know a few people through this forum who have gotten their green card within 90 days (please see http://boards.immigrationportal.com/showthread.php?t=126074 ).

Also, please note that this pilot program is only available for Dallas area residents. You can get your green card in 90 days. It is a promise provided you do not have a criminal back ground or if your name is not in the FBI check list. If you are in Dallas, I would recommend you to go through this process. I have stated in the thread that my appointment is on Jan. 3rd, but I was lucky enough to get a cancelled appointment yesterday and got the interveiw today.
