i was on H-1 and got laid off on Feb 1, transferred to H-4 on March 15....
Received letter from INS asking for more evidence of marriage certificate a few days back(they want a registered copy from the State of llinois), they said if i do not reply, my case would be treated as abandoned or denied.
Got another job starting August 1. Got h-1 approved for that job(May 25th). I will be leaving the US next week and re-entering US on new H-1.
Should I reply INS letter or should I just ignore it or should i withdraw the case?
