Was married to a LPR for 11yrs came to the US 6yrs ago. He was abusive physcial, and emotionally, he finally moved out in Feb of 2006. I have 2 sons for him, one was born in the US the other was born in my country. All the time we were married i asked him to file for my older son and myself and he hadn't. Now I am left with our 2 sons, he pays the rent for our apartment but God knows how long that might last. What are my options now tht he has left, would I have to take the boys back to my country or are they any immigration provisions for me and my older son. What can I do? He said he is glad he never filed for me. He was the cause for the break down of the marriage because of his abuse. Any input would be appreciated thank you.
