need some urgent Advice please

i'm scheduled to have my AOS interview on 7th dec 2005, however my wife the (usc) just found out that her uncle passed away this morining (1st dec 2005) and his burial is on the date of our interview.

i guess its too late to call INS to reschedule, so i was wondering if i should try a walk in appointment and speak with an officer at my local Immigration office.

However if that fails, i was thinking about going to the interview by myself, and hopefully get another interview date after expalining my situation to an officer.

Can anyone please give me some advice?

You can still call USCIS to re-schedule the interview. If calling then does not help, you could get an INFOPASS and explain the situation and ask for a different date.
