Hello,

I applied B2 VISA to my mother twice, once in 2006 and early 2007 and got rejected twice. My father expired and i am the only son to my mother and i am on a L1B VISA here. On both instances she was asked the same question.
1. Do you have your husband or any children here? No was the answer.
and was rejected immediately.
2. Which company your son is working(this was only on first interview)

Now I have her VISA date on next month again. I have produced all related documentation of property she owns there , bank account details , land etc.
And I am on L1B VISA from a Indian company and there is no way i can settled here.

1.Can you please suggest me on any other specific proof that i need to provide to convince the officer that she will return back.
2. Why is the law like this. If she has only one son.she cant see or visit him?

Firstly to correct you, you did not apply for her B-2 visa, she did for her own.

A1: Strong financial ties to India, since her family ties are on the weak side.
A2: Unfortunately, that is how the immigration law stands. Every visitor is considered an immigrant until he/she proves otherwise.
