Maybe I'm just feeling grumpy but I don't see why we need a whole new thread for this when opinions on the answer are already available in the threads discussing both the next VBs and high case numbers. Is it someone who feels his case is so important, or just too lazy to look for the answer before posting?
Maybe if I'm this grumpy I need to take a break from the forums. So tired of people asking the same questions that have been answered over and over or that they shouldn't be asking in the first place because it's all in the instructions...

My dear @SusieQQQ I feel you are grumpy and I think I know why. I just finished reading some thread around and there was this guy that make me read "rude" when it really said "rules", that's how obnoxious he was. Take a break, and don't give him that much power. (I must confess that it made me grumpy too)

yeah i meant august, you dont have to check until they send you an email to check your interview details (4 to 6 weeks before your interview)
and you will go to ESC and use your first confirmation number

I think you will go current in August which will be announced in the next VB in a few days time.

If u r from colombo...u can get the police clearance from police head quarters...i think its located in maradana...and u can get it from district head quarters of police...usually it takes 30days.

My CN is AS 11xxx and I am from Sri Lanka too. I was thinking I should get the I-134 and W2 form now as I hope I will be current in the coming months.
My question is relating to the filling out of I-134, the question is:
"Do you (the sponsor) intend to make contributions to the support of the person (the green card winner) and indicate the exact nature and duration of contributions. If you ( the sponsor) intend to furnish room and board, state for how long and the amount in US dollars"
My questions: 1.What's the minimum amount the sponsor needs to indicate?
2. Can I show my own savings to support the affidavit of support?
3. If I plan to do my masters degree in the US, would the amount indicated in this form affect the amount of financial aid I would receive?
