:confused:O.k. I need some help here, I have a case where my mom is now US citizen and I'm in the US in H2B status. How would I go about
adjusting my status to perm. resident? And how long would
it take before I could apply for AP to travel? I was originally
filed for some years ago then I turned 21 before the filing was complete and now I have to wait, does this help in reducing the waiting period to adjust status now that I'm in the US? :confused:
 
well, that depends on whether your priority date is current or not. Check the visa bulletin on www.travel.state.gov and see if it is.

The fact that you are in the US will not have an effect on the length of your waiting period.
