Got a call from my Congressman yesterday that the Congressional Relations person in TSC confirmed to them that we were approved on Monday (two days ago).
My problem is - I did not receive any email nor did I see any change in my case online.

Is this normal? Anyone else received a notice by mail (or any other form) without receiving email or seeing any movement online?

Thanks.

If it is approved. Wait couple of days by Friday you will get on line status approval emails. Good luck.

My spouse (derivative of EB2) GC is approved in local office (transferred from TSC) on 5/16/2008 and there was no update online until 5/27/2008 with message as approval notice sent. He received card on 5/27/2008 and no online update of card ordered or card mailed until today. In addition to local office, TSC can also just approve and not update the status online until some time.

OK, thanks to both of you.

I just wanted to know if it was plausible at all that an approval will not necessarily generate an email and/or change on line. I thought waiting for so many years was hard...when I became current in May and nothing happened it was even harder, and not to hear that it's approved and not see anything...I guess they system is trying to test my mental ability. In any case, I am holding off all celebrations until I see something real in my hands of course.

Thanks again.
