Hi,

I changed my job after 10 months in 485. Had no gap between employment. I was forced to change because of end of project. Now, as I am a Marylander, I have 95% chance of case tranferring to local INS at Baltimore. When I go for interview, I will be taking my employment letter and pay stubs from the current company. Do I have to take something like a write up of AC21 clause from my lawyer, stating that I legally changed my job, along with me? (just in case I meet a dumb officer who knows nothing about AC21) Or is it necessary to take my lawyer with me? I do not have much confidence in my current lawyer. Is it okay if I take some other lawyer with me ? Have anybody encountered this situation before ? Please advise..

Thanks,

Shouldn't be a problem...

esp if new job has similar job description and skill sets as old one. Get documentation from your company. No need to take an attorney if you are not comfortable with your current one.
Search old postings in this forum. There have been plenty of folks in your situation few have had problems.
