hello.. Its a slightly tricky situation. Company was laying off people before my I-140 got approved and they gave a leave of absence. However, in the meantime, I got a job and started with new employer before the I-140 was approved.
Now I've got an RFE on my I-485 and I need to send information about my current employer.

Can I and do I need to apply for AC21 ? Please help...I need some advice before I go speak with my lawyer.

-----------YES if you are eligible for AC21 and if you are not working with the employer who filed LC and I-1-140, send the new employer permanent job offer letter with same/similar job duties

Please help...I need some advice before I go speak with my lawyer.

___________ if I-140 is approved and I-485 pending more than 180 days then you are eligible for AC21. Past company lawyer represents the past company better talk to new company lawyer or hire your lawyer
